LBFE volunteers provide phone, in-person and group social interactions with older adults. Elders undergo an in-home assessment to determine their needs. Volunteers visit at least twice a month for at least a year-long commitment. Volunteers are also encouraged to assist elders where they may need with small tasks. Self-referrals can be done online at their website or over the phone.
