ReCARES accepts donations of durable medical equipment and supplies and provides the items to people who need them. There are no requirements to get items from ReCARES, all are welcome. All items are free. Some items are always available, such as gait belts, pill boxes, commodes, and standard front-wheel walkers. Occasionally, they have indoor stair lifts. Items in short supply include tub transfer benches, wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, electric scooters, and four-wheeled walkers with seats and brakes. They usually do not deliver.
