he PA is on the lookout for a lively, enthusiastic person to fill a seat on its Governing Body. The GB sets policy and oversees the activities of the PA. As a board member, you will have direct input into programs, policies and procedures that have made the PA a model for others.
To qualify for this seat, you must be over 55 years old, a San Francisco resident, and either a past or current user of personal assistance services or familiar with PAS.
The time commitment for board membership is minimal. The GB meets six times a year (only in odd-numbered months) for two hours at the PA office on Folsom Street (between 4th and 5th).
If you wish to make a difference in the lives of other older San Francisco adults and people with disabilities—and you’re up for this opportunity—we’d love to talk to you about joining our board and have you attend a meeting to see how we work.
For more information, please contact Patrick Hoctel at (415) 593-8117 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for your time and interest!
