General Summary
This position provides a range of support services for Home Care Providers. This highly visible and hands-on position establishes and maintains responsive, efficient, service-oriented support, represents the Public Authority at orientations, performs Livescan fingerprinting, coordinates logistics for distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE), generates identification cards, assists Providers with benefits inquiries and answers questions about other services.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains positive, helpful relationship with Home Care Providers.
- Conducts Livescan fingerprinting at the main office and offsite location; handles all DOJ/ Livescan related inquiries and supports Home Care Providers with scheduling.
- Attends up to 4 weekly in-person, group orientation sessions, to conduct Livescan fingerprinting offsite held and hosted by the San Francisco IHSS County office.
- Provides overview of the different programs and employment opportunities offered at the Public Authority.
- Manages inventory and coordinates the logistics of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) distribution: monitors inventory, orders supply, prepares packets, and coordinates on-site distributions and maintains activity logs.
- Manages process to produce and update employment ID badges.
Administration
- Assists with sending, receiving and processing monthly notices to Home Care Providers to maintain up-to-date employment records.
- Backs-up Livescan Fingerprinting Technician; reviews results; consults with Provider Services Manager on questions, contacts Home Care Providers with results.
- Maintains Livescan hardware and software up-to-date and troubleshoots issues with vendor and escalates technical issues accordingly.
- Keeps Livescan station and equipment organized and sanitized after each use.
- Assist the Benefits Coordinator with handling in-person, telephone, email, and text inquiries regarding confidential health and dental benefits: sending applications, confirming eligibility, processing terminations and cancelations, and providing COBRA information.
- Performs data entry and quality control review of records & reports received.
- Provides Front Desk Reception Assistance when needed by re-directing traffic, routing phone calls, and handling walk-in enquiries.
- Attends monthly all staff meetings and training courses as required.
- Other duties as assigned by Provider Services Manager.
Technical Knowledge
- Proficient level skills in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to learn Salesforce, DOJ and other systems to update employee records.
- Confident keyboarding skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Able to successfully obtain and maintain Department of Justice background check clearance and complete necessary training to perform Livescan fingerprinting.
- Demonstrated customer-service experience in a multi-cultural environment.
- Two years of college and at least two (2) years of full-time administrative work that includes direct customer service, or a combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time, occasionally bending and lifting to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable presenting information and responding to questions from diverse participants at orientations. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Adaptable to daily challenges and to change; eager to solve-problems.
- Able to problem solve and identify when to escalate an issue for consultation and help.
- Able to follow-up open issues to complete tasks, meet deadlines and plan meetings, and maintain supply inventory.
- Possess attention to detail and data entry accuracy, respect of confidential employee records and issues.
- Bilingual/cultural skills (oral and written fluency in English, Cantonese, Spanish or other languages) helpful
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
